Puppy & Kitten Vaccine Schedule
Enter your pet's birth date and we'll build their vaccine schedule: every shot, the date it's due, and a calendar you can share or bring to your visit. Check off the ones they've already had.
i A planning guide, not a prescription. We confirm the exact vaccines and dates at your pet's exam, tailored to their health, breed, and lifestyle.
- 1 Pick puppy or kitten and enter their birth date
- 2 See each vaccine, when it's due, and what it prevents

This schedule is a planning estimate built from standard AAHA and AAFP puppy and kitten guidelines and our region's risk (ticks and wildlife are common in Westchester County). It is not a diagnosis or a substitute for an exam. Your veterinarian sets the final vaccines and dates based on your pet's health, prior records, breed, and lifestyle, and we don't vaccinate a pet who is unwell.
Use "vaccines per visit" to set the pace: pick 1 to spread the shots out one at a time (gentlest), or up to 3 to finish in fewer trips. We never give more than 3 vaccines at once. Any in-between stop that is just a vaccine top-up, with nothing that needs a full exam, can be a quick technician visit, but your puppy or kitten still sees the doctor at least once a month, so every month includes at least one exam visit. Either way, doses stay at least two weeks apart, the final puppy or kitten core dose lands at 16 weeks of age or older, and rabies is given at 12 weeks (no earlier) and, by New York State law, by 4 months of age. Heartworm and flea & tick prevention start at the first visit and continue monthly, year-round. Started late or adopted an older pet? Bring any records and we'll tailor a catch-up plan.
