Veterinary Payment Options and Financing

We offer flexible veterinary payment options and financing to help make your pet’s care affordable. At Heights Hospital for Animals, we believe that cost should never stand in the way of your pet receiving the treatment they need. Our team is committed to working with you to find a payment solution that fits your budget while ensuring your pet gets quality veterinary care.

Payment is expected at the time services are rendered. We accept major credit and debit cards including Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. We also accept cash. If you have questions about payment before your visit, we encourage you to call our office so we can help you plan ahead.

Pet Insurance

Pet insurance is also a viable option for many pet owners, helping cover the cost of unexpected veterinary care. Much like health insurance for people, pet insurance can reimburse you for a portion of your veterinary bills, including emergency visits, surgeries, diagnostics, and even routine wellness exams depending on your plan. There are a variety of pet insurance companies and plans available, each with different levels of coverage, deductibles, and monthly premiums. We recommend researching providers and comparing plans to find the best fit for your pet’s age, breed, and health history. Feel free to contact us today if you need any guidance choosing a plan. Our staff can help point you in the right direction based on your pet’s specific needs.

CareCredit Financing

For additional financing, we accept CareCredit, a healthcare credit card that allows your pet to get veterinary care when they need it. Instead of paying the entire cost at once, CareCredit lets you pay off your balance in monthly installments. CareCredit offers promotional financing options, including plans with low or no interest if paid in full within a set period. You can apply online or at our office, and approval decisions are usually made within minutes. CareCredit can be used not only for veterinary expenses but also for your own healthcare costs, making it a useful tool for the whole family.

Estimates and Treatment Plans

Before any procedure or treatment, we will provide you with a detailed estimate so you know what to expect. We want you to feel informed and comfortable with the cost of your pet’s care before we begin. If your pet requires ongoing treatment or multiple visits, we will outline a treatment plan and discuss the associated costs with you upfront. Our goal is to be fully transparent so there are no surprises when it comes to your bill.
