Office Visit Fee

Our standard office visit fee is $99.23. This covers the initial examination by one of our veterinarians, during which we will assess your pet’s overall health and discuss any concerns you may have. The office visit fee does not include any additional treatments, diagnostics, lab work, or medications that may be recommended during your appointment. If further services are needed, we will provide you with a detailed estimate before proceeding so you can make an informed decision about your pet’s care.

What to Expect at Your Visit

When you arrive at Heights Hospital for Animals, our front desk team will check you in and review your pet’s information. If you are a new client, we recommend arriving a few minutes early to complete any necessary paperwork. You can also save time by downloading and filling out our new client forms ahead of your visit. During the appointment, your veterinarian will perform a thorough physical examination and discuss your pet’s health, behavior, diet, and any symptoms or concerns. We encourage you to bring a list of questions so we can address everything during your visit.

Types of Appointments

We see patients for a wide range of veterinary needs, including annual wellness exams, vaccinations, sick visits, follow-up appointments, and pre-surgical consultations. If your pet needs a specific procedure or service, please mention it when booking so we can allocate the appropriate amount of time and have everything prepared for your arrival. For routine wellness visits, we recommend scheduling your pet’s annual checkup in advance, as appointment times can fill up quickly.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please give us as much notice as possible so we can offer the time slot to another patient. You can call our office at (914) 962-5579 to make any changes to your scheduled visit. We understand that things come up and will do our best to accommodate rescheduling requests.

Payment and Insurance

Payment is expected at the time services are rendered. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, and cash. We also accept CareCredit financing for those who prefer to pay in monthly installments. If you have pet insurance, we recommend contacting your provider before your visit to understand your coverage and reimbursement process.
